Tomobiki High's Parents' Day quickly turns into a horror show once the families' eccentricities, starting with the Moroboshis', come out into the open. Onsen Mark, the principal who's always more outlandish than expected, does nothing to calm things down. Then the episode shifts to a more melancholic tone with the story of the aftermath of a parting, stirring up nostalgia and regret in a character left behind alone. Between family comedy and genuine emotion, this double episode shifts tones with real skill.
